Community Activities

  • Maintain Leveaux Park and Heritage Gardens at White Pine Village
  • Assist with design, planning and maintenance of War Memorials throughout county
  • Support Petunia Parade planting and maintenance, and hanging flower baskets in Scottville
  • Spring Plant Exchange and Fall Plant Sale
  • Support Downtown Development Authority with the planters located throughout the business district
  • Garden Walk “Bouquet of Gardens”
  • Landscape Design Awards to local businesses
  • Support 4H Horticultural programs and Habitat for Humanity

Member Responsibilities

  • Members shall work together to attain the stated Club goals in the areas of horticulture, environment, conservation, artistic and landscape design.

"Active Member" requirements

  • Participate in Club projects, activities, and programs
  • Serve on one Refreshment Committee per year
  • Chair or be a member of at least one Standing or Special Events Committee
  • Are encouraged to attend at least five meetings and/or events per year
  • An “Active Member” may transfer to “Associate Member”, after five years of active service.

Annual Member Dues - Payable at the December meeting

  • Active – $30.00 (includes 1 Garden Walk Ticket, if held, or Scholarship Fund)
  • Associate – $35.00 (includes 1 Garden Walk Ticket, if held, or Scholarship Fund – no voting rights)
  • Honorary – $15.00 (State dues and 1 Garden Walk Ticket, if held, or Scholarship Fund – Outstanding Service for at least 20 yrs.)
  • Life – $15.00 (State dues and 1 Garden Walk Ticket, if held, or Scholarship Fund)
